For our January Mini Sessions, we have grouped private lessons back-to-back over the course of three consecutive days, in order to provide them at a reduced rate to you! This is a special opportunity to study one-on-one with Botanique's owner and creative director, Kelly Sullivan, in her beautiful floral design studio. This is time for you to go in-depth with one design topic, get your burning questions answered, learn mechanics and techniques for creating designs you feel proud of, and leave feeling inspired and refreshed for the year ahead. Depending on the session you choose, you will create either a bridal bouquet or an arrangement in a vase. Please note that there is only ONE slot available for each listed time- once someone signs up for it, that particular session is gone.

Friday, January 25th Sessions: The Bridal Bouquet (3.5 hours)

Learn the mechanics and artistry to create gorgeous, hand-tied bouquets full of movement and elegance. Learn how to select the right materials, and layer and place them to create dynamic and artful designs. Kelly has designed countless bridal bouquets, and this piece continues to be her very favorite to create.  There are only two slots offered for this:

•    Friday, January 25th from 8:30am-12:00pm
•    Friday, January 25th from 1:30pm-5pm

Saturday, January 26th and Sunday, January 27th: Creating Movement in Vased Arrangements (2.5 hours)

Learn the mechanics and design concepts behind creating intentional and natural movement in your floral designs. We will discuss color theory, line, materials selection, placement, and techniques to create arrangements where you are intentionally guiding the eye through the design. There are five slots offered for this subject:

•    Saturday, January 26th from 9am-11:30am
•    Saturday, January 26th from 12:30pm-3pm
•    Saturday, January 26th from 3:30pm-6pm

•    Sunday, January 27th from 11am-1:30pm

•    Sunday, January 27th from 2:30pm-5pm

All lessons will be held at Botanique's Floral Design studio in South Seattle. All materials and light refreshments will be provided. Please note that lessons are non-refundable, though they are transferrable. Payment plans are available- just ask!
