COLORFUL, SUMMER BRIDAL BOUQUET FROM AN INTIMATE, BACKYARD, BAINBRIDGE ISLAND WEDDING
It's been a little over a year since this intimate and meaningful wedding of our very own Jesi to her love Barry! Jesi has been a designer on the Botanique team since the very, very beginning. I love her like a sister, so when she told me she was getting married and asked me to create her bridal bouquet, my answer was, "YES! I've been waiting for this moment for years!" Jesi and Barry got married last summer in an intimate, backyard wedding celebration at their home on Bainbr

MOTHER'S DAY FLORAL DESIGN WORKSHOP!
I have long wanted to host a workshop around Mother's Day, to honor all the mothers in our lives, whoever they might be. After becoming a mother myself a few years ago, I have been feeling even more excitement to create a special day to celebrate our mothers, or to pamper yourself if you are a mother. This year the stars aligned for this workshop to come together, and I am very excited to offer this to you! Read on for more info, or register by clicking HERE. MOTHER'S DAY FLO

ATMOSPHERIC, ETHERIAL, SLEEPING BEAUTY EDITORIAL
Atmospheric, mysterious, etherial... and not really of this world. When photographer Sarah Carpenter approached me about creating a floral installation for a Sleeping Beauty editorial concept she was working on, I immediately said YES. I love using flowers as a medium to create an ambiance and atmosphere, and had such a great time letting my imagination run wild with this magical, other-worldly installation. This editorial was recently featured on Hochzeitsguide. Enjoy! Featu

MODERN, NEUTRAL, ELEGANT WEDDING INSPIRATION AT THE RAINER CHAPTER HOUSE
We created this beautiful editorial last winter. Working with a minimal palette, we wanted to create arrangements that were not so greenery focused- many of our couples want LOTS of greenery (which we absolutely love!), but it is fun to step out of the box and try something new. By nixing the foliage, these designs carry a more modern feel, while still retaining all the movement and elegance that we are known for. Enjoy! INTIMATE BALLARD WEDDING AT THE PANTRY
Intimate weddings have my heart. If I were to do it all over again, I would definitely keep my wedding small, with just my closest friends and family, focused on a shared experience, amazing food, and (of course) gorgeous flowers! Don't get me wrong, I love FLOWERING large weddings (weddings of all sizes, really). But I do have a soft spot for the super small, intimate celebrations. They just have this special something... I think it's the intimacy of truly getting to be with

ROMANTIC WEDDING AT THORNEWOOD CASTLE
I'm about a year late in sharing this beauty of a wedding, but it was a favorite so better late than never! Tianji and Junfan married at Thornewood Castle in late August, and Maria Lamb captured these stunning images of their day. The wedding was planned by Lovely Time Weddings, and we loved creating such lush, romantic designs for this gorgeous day! Happy (late) anniversary you two! We're starting to book for 2019, and very excited about the celebrations we'll get to help br

MODERN, TEXTURAL, ROMANTIC WEDDING INSPIRATION
Last fall, we worked with some of our favorite creatives on an editorial that was recently featured on Wedding Sparrow. We pulled in lots of gorgeous textures including my very favorite, Smokebush- the dusty rose/burgundy fuzzy cloud-like stuff you can see in the images above! For this shoot, I was excited to experiment with using textures in a more focal way- so I created this bridal bouquet without the use of the large, fluffy blooms (like garden roses/peonies/ranunculas/da

SPRING WEDDING AT CHATEAU LILL
While I won't be moving all the content from the old Botanique Blog over to this new journal, I will be sharing some recent highlights! This wedding from last spring at Chateau Lill was such a favorite- it is so hard to say when the "best" season is for flowers... but late May is definitely up towards the top. Peonies, ranunculus, poppies, all kinds of blooming branches.... so many beautiful things! This wedding was featured on Style Me Pretty, you can see the full feature he
