INTIMATE BALLARD WEDDING AT THE PANTRY
Intimate weddings have my heart. If I were to do it all over again, I would definitely keep my wedding small, with just my closest friends and family, focused on a shared experience, amazing food, and (of course) gorgeous flowers! Don't get me wrong, I love FLOWERING large weddings (weddings of all sizes, really). But I do have a soft spot for the super small, intimate celebrations. They just have this special something... I think it's the intimacy of truly getting to be with everyone in attendance. The small weddings feel very personal.
I knew from the first time Rachel and I spoke on the phone that we were going to hit it off, and designing the flowers for her and Ryan's wedding was a dream. A floral designer in her own right, Rachel really understood flowers, and gave us a lot of creative freedom to make something beautiful and special. We warmed up the classic palette of white and green with accents of butter yellow, and created designs full of movement for the family style dinner at The Pantry. It was a gorgeous, sunny, August day, and everything just sparkled!
