Late Spring Floral Design Workshop on May 28th!

It has been YEARS since we've been able to offer any workshops. So it is with great excitement that I am announcing the return of our in-person workshops this year! The first one is coming up in just about a month, and another will be offered in mid-June. We are planning at least one more workshop over the summer months, but no date has been set yet. Read below for more info and to register! Both of the upcoming workshops are open to all levels, with the May workshop geared more towards beginning designers and the June workshop focusing on more advanced design techniques (you can read about the June workshop here).

We will also be offering one full scholarship to each of these upcoming workshops. These scholarships are open to BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) applicants. Please see the workshop descriptions for more scholarship info including important dates to know!

Late Spring Floral Design Workshop

May 28th, from 10am-12:30pm at the Botanique Studio and Cutting Garden

You can register HERE.

Late spring is a time of lushness in the garden- everything is soft, verdant and new. Flowers are blooming, and there is so much beauty to behold! Join Kelly Sullivan of Botanique for a morning of floral arranging in our intimate, South Seattle studio and Cutting Garden, where you will learn how to create a beautiful, seasonal floral arrangement using local flowers sourced from Botanique’s Cutting Garden and from local flower growers. Kelly will guide you through the design process, and each participant will make their own arrangement to take home. This class is open to all levels, and geared towards beginning and intermediate designers and/or anyone who wants to learn some new design tricks or get a fresh dose of inspiration, working with seasonal flowers in a creative, inspiring and supportive setting. Registration will be capped at 14 participants, and early registration is advised. There will be both indoor and outdoor workspace to accommodate a range of comfort levels regarding Covid. WORKSHOP INCLUDES:

  • All flowers and materials for you to make a gorgeous, seasonal floral arrangement to take home at the end of the workshop or gift to a loved one

  • 2.5 hours of group and personal instruction from Botanique’s founder and creative director, Kelly Sullivan. We keep registration numbers low to allow for both group learning and individual questions throughout the workshop.

  • An opportunity to connect, have fun, be creative, and spend time with flowers and other flower-loving people

  • A chance to see and experience the Botanique Cutting Garden
