A Glimpse Into the Botanique Studio during a 1:1 Floral Design Lesson

1:1 Lessons are un-pressured time in the studio, where you are free to let it all out- your fears, excitements, questions, what you feel is holding you back, what you truly want. We spend the day (or days, depending on the lesson) diving DEEP, answering your questions and stocking your toolkit with the skills and confidence you need to take your work to the next level.

If you've been curious about what it would be like to have a private floral design lesson, here's a little peek inside the Botanique studio during a 1:1 lesson last summer! The photos here are from a lesson with the lovely Agnes from Petite Fleur Botanicals. We spent a full day together, diving into color theory, creating movement and layering in vased floral arrangements, and constructing bridal bouquets. As you will see, she created some absolutely STUNNING work!

These lessons and my 1:1 students are so special to me- it's such an honor to coach someone in a 1:1 setting, to really dive into the particular struggles or pieces of knowledge that someone needs to take flight. Often I have found that we get into conversations far beyond just the flowers- when someone is at a turning point, making a career change or just READY to launch into the next phase of their business or artistic life- there is such a wealth of meaning in those times! As much as these lessons are about learning the mechanics and technical skills necessary to take your design skills and artistry to the next level, they are also about learning from the experiences, challenges and excitement that come with a new chapter of life.

Enjoy this little peek into the magical 1:1 world, and if you're curious about a lesson for yourself, send me an email at kelly@botaniqueflowers.com.
