A Leavenworth, Wildflower Elopement, in a Gold, Sage, Honey and Blush Color Palette

We always seek to design in a way that mirrors the time and place of a wedding, so that the flowers feel at home and native to their surroundings. Golden tones always feel so appropriate in late summer, and they were a perfect match for the time and place of this Leavenworth elopement inspiration shoot. The glowing, earthy tones of the honey dijon roses were juxtaposed with the delicate, pastel blush/lavender tone of the Japanese anemones, and the gold, sage, honey and blush color palette mirrored the grasses and wildflowers in the meadow where the couple's wedding portraits were taken. Wanting to emulate the feeling of this wild, late-summer field, we wove grasses, yarrow and sage with the more prominent blooms in the palette to create a bridal bouquet that is both lush and wildflower-inspired. The tablescape combined a full and romantic arrangement with smaller, minimalist arrangements, and glowing beeswax tea light candles and gold flatware and accents were layered in to further play up the late summer, golden hour vibe. The bouquet, boutonnieres, and centerpieces from this inspiration shoot were created largely with blooms from our cutting garden, which always makes the designs that much more special. Enjoy!
